- I have 4a/b (mostly 4b) hair, and I'm getting used to the idea of accepting it as it is. I've had relaxed hair my entire life up until 2 years ago. It took a year for me to get the courage for the BC, but by then I had to chop off not only old relaxer but fried natural hair as well. After that, no more heat and no more hiding my real hair texture. I love my Natural Hair! I hope more people come to love their natural hair textures.
