It's definitely been an interesting journey thus far & I'm excited to see where it goes. It didn't start with a frustration or dislike of my permed hair-it was decent health, length & outside the is it weave comments, I really enjoyed it. But even then, I was never a big fan of bone straight hair & always felt more confident with textured hairstyles so I was like why not go Au Naturale. So this started out as more of a curiosity thing to see if I could really do it but MY has it turned out to be rather liberating & enlightening. I'm experimenting with colors, styles, & accessories that I would have never toyed with before cause it just didn't go with the "persona" (as they called it). I feel more comfortable & confident in my skin. I've gotten more compliments about my hair & persona as a whole than I could ever imagine. It's great to see all the other beautiful people on this site sharing their experiences. I'm glad that you're all here to guide & inspire me :) I welcome all your advice, suggestions, recommendations & just plain ole adding your 2 cents ;) - General Information
