- I gained so much inspiration from browsing Fotki albums that I finally decided to create one of my own!
I have been natural for 5 years now. I transitioned from perm with braids/twists and trimmed as i went along. The reason I went natural had nothing to do with pride, heritage or a love for my hair.....I simply could not keep up with the financial aspect of chemical treatments. Throughout my journey I grew to love the look, feel and versatility of my natural hair and now I would not change a thing!
One of the things I love most about natural hair is its versatility. Everything from braids, to weaves, to blowouts, to ponytails and it bounces right back. I am always updating my look and thought i'd share the multitude of styles that i have had and continue to try.
