I am a black dominican girl from Summerville, South Carolina. I was born in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic and raised by mostly mi abuela (grandmother). I am currently in school and I am an aspiring doctor. I just wanted to have a hair diary but the kind others can look at.
Here is my current regimen:
1) Protective styling (bunning)
2) Moisturizing everyday
3) Shampoo and condition once a week
4) Deep treatment every week
5) Amla treatment every month
6) Dust every 3 months
7) Detergent wash once a year (not in 2010. not using cones)
8) No heat
9) Healthy eating and daily vitamins
10) Plenty of water
Staple products:
EVOO, unrefined shea butter, Long Aid curl activator gel, Henna, vatika oil, coconut oil, olive oil eco styler gel, and avocado oil.
My hair goals are as follows:
1) by April 2009 be able to wear a pony puff - GOAL MET!
2) by July 2009 be shoulder length stretched - GOAL MET!
3) by April 2010 be bra strap length stretched-
4) Waist length stretched by 4 year anniversary-
5) Mid back length curls by 5 year anniversary-
