Hi...I think it's safe to say that I am no longer new to this website or to the healthy hair growth process. I've been on my journey to longer, healthier hair for about one year now. I came across fotki while browsing the bhm discussion board and boy am I happy that I found it. After I was forced to chop off my hair earlier this year (due to a horrible super glue incident) I decided that I might as well start taking good care of my hair since I had to start over anyways. There are many ladies on this site that have motivated and inspired me to grow healthy hair...viewing their pages made me realize that growing long, healthy hair is very much possible if the right measures are taken. I came up with my own regimen using the tips that were given from the many pages I came across. Please feel free to look through my albums and journals and leave comments as you wish....tips and advice on how to reach my long hair goals will be very much appreciated....Thank You.

This is the current routine I follow for my hair. It's very simple...I had to keep it simple or I would end up slacking really bad...

****updated July 2008*****
:::DAILY:::
Morning:
-I moisturize with: Cantu Break Cure & Dove sheer moisture

Night:
-oil scalp with MN mix (at least 4x a week)
-I moisturize with: Cantu Break Cure
-massage scalp for 5-10 minutes
-I wrap hair with silk scarf

:::WEEKLY:::
-I prepoo/deep condition (on dry hair) with Aubrey Organics GPB
-I wash my hair with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo & Keracare Hydrating Shampoo
-I follow with Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose or Keracare Humecto as an instant conditioner then rinse (SAA added)
-I towel dry and apply Giovanni Direct leave-in conditioner
-I then air dry
-I moisturize with Cantu Break Cure

Mid-Week:
-pre-poo
-co-wash with any old conditioner
-air dry (w/ Giovanni, Cantu Break Cure)

Ocationally
-Deep condition with Keracare Humecto w/ SAA added on wet hair (I sit under a hooded dryer with a shower cap on for 15-20 minutes then rinse).
-Henna every few weeks
