Let's see.....I wash approx 1 x/week. Sometimes it may be a little less than 7 days or a little more. I use either shampoo diluted with water or shikakai powder mixed with water, coconut oil and a cheapy conditioner with no 'cones' like v05.

My new loves are Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose conditioner and silk amino acids (SAA). I use a few drops of silk amino acids mixed with the conditioner and a little castor oil. Great combo. SAA can be purchased at places like lotioncrafters.com

After washing: I usually do 6 plaits for a braidout put little perm rods on the ends and airdry.

Right now I'm using a mixture of distilled water, cheapie conditioner w/o cones, and glycerin/honeyquat. I'm still not completely satisfied with my moisture level from this so I'll keep experimenting until I find the best thing for my hair.

My relaxers are done by DH. I relax every 19 weeks or more with Mizani Sensitive scalp
