- I'm a recent college grad and now work for a Pediatricians office. I've been loc'd and on this wonderful journey for 4 years now and love every step that I've had to make. As you all know there are some ups and downs to this and I had my share of them. This is my second attempt at locs and I really feel that my best advice is to research and be an advocate for what you know about your hair and more importantly your scalp.
