- I went natural on August 14, 2007. I transitioned for about 3 months and I got tired of dealing with all of the tangles so I just went to the salon and got it cut off. I was kind of nervous because I have never had my hair that short before, but it worked out alright. I am not going back to relaxers because I don't want my hair damaged anymore and I want my hair to grow out strong and healthy. I love fashion also, so maybe one day, if it's in Gods will, I will be able to get into it full time. I am trying to do more protective styles now, so that I can try and grow my hair out a little more and hopefully, it will get a little thicker also. When I was younger, my mom started relaxing my hair, because she didn't want to deal with my hair anymore because it was so long and thick, but as the years went by, I noticed that my hair was no longer thick and it was just so thin. So now, I am trying to do everything possible to keep my hair healthy. I am praying everyday that my hair will be restored back to its natural state and be long, thick, and healthy.
