- I started growing out my hair some times in 1994 while in college. After graduating, I realized how much of my weekend my hair maintenance took up and want a tex. I got that done in late 1997 and the stylist who did it basically straightened my hair. After days of depression and disbelief, I accepted that I had to start over.
For a decade I didn't do the 'curly' method. I used a lot of bad ingredients. Although, I thankfully learned to stay away from mineral oil early on. My hair grew, but I suffered from split and brittle ends. My hair grew long, but at one point - stopped. In my research why, I found the forums on naturallycurly and my world opened up. My current goal is to repair/nurture my suffering ends and take care of the 'short hairs' from years of excessive shedding.
I became some what of a product junkie just to find my hair's 'best friends'. I have found that I can not have too many jars, bottles, choices in my house. It clutters my brain. I'm slowly finding my routine which can be found in my journal. - General Information
