I big chopped again! Yes I cut off all those ends that were damaged from that one flat iron session. I am free again!

So last year Oct, I went to a trusted natural hair dresser and allowed her to flat iron my hair. Long story short when I washed my hair about 2 weeks later, nearly half of my natural curls didn't revert. So, now I am transitioning ALL OVER AGAIN. I am dealing with two different textures and I hate it. But what I have been doing is trimming about an inch every two months and by October 2012 I should be back to where I was last year. **************

This is actually the second time I am going natural. But lets just say the first time there was too much money was spent a particular hair dresser putting heat in my hair. Besides, I didn't know anything about handling and caring for natural hair i.e. breaking rat tail combs in my hair and wearing alot of hats lol.

Now that I have done my research (Youtube) and understand what to do with my hair I am now ready to do it right. I feel great that the permed ends are gone, even though at first I felt like a boy. But as the days go along I am much more confident about my natural curls.

I am finally a Registered Nurse, I graduated Dec 2011!!!!
