- Hi all I was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to California in 1983. Since then I have done a lot of traveling in the US and Europe. During my travels I met my wife Valentina in Bulgaria. I just love her country its an absolutely beautifull place. The Netherlands is still dear to my heart its ever so green but a little wet for my taste i truly prefer the Southern California sunshine and the colors of the desert, My biggest love next to Valentina are my 2 dogs Junior and Norman and after that gardening especially cacti. I get an absolute kick out of our desert plants and turned my front and side yard into cacti and succulent gardens.
Furthermore I like hiking and just being in nature
