- My name is Christine and I've kept and bred finches for about 5 years now. Trained in Plant Molecular Biology and Developmental Biology and then in Molecular Medicine and Cancer Biology, due to a collapsing spinal column and not healing very well from a double lumbar fusion, I'm currently on a very long and extended leave of absence.
I keep zebras, societies, gouldians, shafttails as well as cordon bleus, plumhead finches, star finches, pearl headed amadines and pintailed nonpareils parrotfinches. While I love all birds for different reasons, the exuberance of the zebra finch makes them one of my favorites. I'm interested in all things bird and particularly interested in finch mutations.
I also love color. I drawing on my computer and play around with various graphics and computer animation programs.
