- Hello everyone! Welcome to my page and my hair journey. As of this year I have decided to take care of my hair. I have never been one to do my own hair. But recently due to a perm at the salon I have two plugs missing from the back of my head. This has motivated me to get involved in taking care of my own hair. I don't know much about hair but I've learned a lot so far from the BHM ladies. I plan on learning a lot more during trial and error. I am going to be trying different things to see what works best with my hair. Hopefully I don't turn into a PJ! Maybe then I will have a stricter regimen.
Shampoo and Conditioning Products:
1) Creme of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo (green and yellow bottle)
2) V05 and Suave Conditioners (co washes)
3) ORS Replenishing Pak (deep conditioner)
4) Lustrasilk Shea Butter Cholesterol (deep conditioner)
5) Infusium 23 (leave in brown and white bottle)
Styling Products, Moisturizers, and Oils:
1) ORS Olive Oil Sheen
2) Olive Oil
3) Organic Kids Shea butter moisturizer
4) Elasta QP Mango Butter
5) Luster's Pink Oil hair glosser
6) Lottabody foam wrap lotion
7) Fantasia's IC heat protectant
Growth Aids:
1) Doo gro ( I know it has some bad ingredients but it has worked for me in the past. I will see if it still helps).
Tools:
Gold and Hot Ceramic (don't know if it is good but I plan on purchasing a better one). This will only be used no more than once a wk
Gold and Hot 1200 watt hard bonnet ( used for alternating between wet wraps and rollersets)
Other Misc:
1) Wrap my hair every night with a satin scarf
2) Do five minute scalp massages everyday
3) Trying to drink m 64 oz of water a day
4) Taking vitamins
Current length: neck length in back, ear length in front
Current goals:
1) To have healthier hair
2) To grow out my patches so my hair can be even
3) To have thick shoulder length hair by February 2009
