- Transitioning out of relaxers. I am a long term transitioner and have no set date of when I am going to BC; basically I will BC when I am comfortable with my unstretched length. I don't claim to be an expert but like to share my experiences so that hopefully someone else doesn't make the same mistake =)
Current winter cowash regime:
1. Apply shikakai scalp oil & Vatika oil to hair let sit either 15min or overnight
2. Detangle under warm running water
3. Apply Hair one Olive conditioner and cleanse scalp (when my scalp needs extra cleansing after oil washing)
4. Apply leave-ins (Trader Joes/HE long term relationship)
5. Seal with castor oil [switched from WGO for extra weather protection but may mix the 2] and apply smoothnshine CAG/La sports gel/BB Curly frizzy pudding
My wash routine is same exempt instead of using Hair one I shampoo with either Shikakai tea mix or Roux porosity shampoo. Then do my weekly carmel treatment and deep conditioner with the flavor of the week (Dessert Essence Italian grape con, Kenra MC, Back to Basics Pomegranate). - General Information
