I couldn't wait! I needed to Henna and Indigo my hair. I love the results! Black hair without the harsh chemicals. Awesome!

I think the whole relaxing era phase has passed! I want to stay natural. I will be back next month. I want to end '09 on a good note.

I have a setback! Single strand knots killed my hair. When I flat-ironed they were everywhere. I had to cut my hair and still have about a thousand of them left. They are no longer at the ends but in the middle of the strands. I don’t know what to do. I am just not feeling being natural right now and just want to relax and focus on my length vs. texture. I think I may relax again but I will give myself until Dec of this year to make the choice. At least I will be more informed on how to take care of it (LHCF). Choices, choices, choices! This natural hair journey feels like its run its course and the road has come to an end.
I'm closing this fotki for now and not updating anymore (If you want to see my albums just ask in my guestbook or through fotki email). Maybe one day I will comeback, i dunno. But for now...

Regimen: Updated 11-19-2009
-Cleanse and deep condition my hair once a week (usually under hooded dryer 15-30 mins.
-Co-wash (in between DC's) once a week (in the winter) or twice a week (in the summer).
-Use heat once a month to combat single strand knots (it has worked). I flatiron in the first week of the month and wear it like that for two weeks with NO other flatiron touch ups in between (if it gets puffy oh wells). The other three weeks of the month I will bun or band my hair in pig tails (my protective styling).
-Oil my scalp when needed, with a applicator bottle as to not disturb my hair when in a bun or banded pig tails. Which prevents manipulation. So its is untouched until the next co-wash or DC.
-Moisturize and seal my ends every other night or when I feel they may be extra dry.
-Search and Destroy Single Strand Knots/Split Ends and Dust/Trim when needed. - General Information
