I'm a beautiful black women who loves my 2 children, I love life, and now I'm learning to love all of me!!! I need all the sista lov you have to offer, so that I can continue to grow inside, as much as my new natural hair will grow on the outside. Today is wonderful day for me. The sun is shining and so is my head. (smile). I did the big chop on 3/21/07, and along with the hair I'm cutting out the fear, unhappiness, loneliness, and negativity out of my life. I recently quit my job as an account manager for a large telecommunication company to pursue my life long dreams to become an image consultant/fashion stylist. I will receive my degree in Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College June 1, 2007! (I can't wait). In order for me to help other women find there inner beauty I have to believe that my natural hair is a beautiful part of me, and not the weaves, perms, or wigs. I understand that women of color will always have these items to use if needed, but I thank GOD today that I DON'T NEED THEM TO BE BEAUTIFUL!. I hope that you will join me on my new found journey to maintain my new head of hair!!! If you receive an e-mail from me and I don't use the proper abbreviations please bare with me.
