I had a relaxer since I was 9. Everyone in my family relaxed their child hair just because. I spend many frustrating years thinking my hair would not grow. Or that I was genetically unlucky concerning hair. 2007 I started researching natural hair on internet and found websites like curlynikki, fotki, and black girl long hair. So I finally BC in 2008! I have never look back. I strongly believe that God led me to go natural, I would even beg God to grow my hair. He heard my prayer! lol

I transition to natural hair july 2007, I transition for 8months. March08 got a BC! That was so hard, I really was so tempted to get a bc sooner, but I waited at little longer. after that I decided to get coils because I was so shocked after my hair cut!

2nd BC in march 08, becuz of heat damage!! I learned a good lesson! I do my own trims every 6 months??
GOALS
My goal is to grow my hair to BSL or longer!!
2012 16inches goal

My current regimen is cowash, deep condition, protective style bantu knot out, or box braids. I wash my hair every 3 to 4 weeks. Simple is better.
