I've had damaged hair all my life that never grew past neck length. When I discovered LHCF and other hairboards, my hair got to just about BSL... but then I had a bad perm which broke it off HORRIBLY. Now, I'm on the road to transitioning to natural (Everything happens for a reason!). This time around, I plan on enjoying everything about my hair NOW (length, texture, thinness/fullness) and stop longing for something else. (I did not appreciate the length I had until it was gone. I had hair anorexia and complained about how thin my hair was. What's the matter with me?") I'm looking forward to this journey and seeing what my natural hair is really like!
