- My life story is, well....everything about me. Everything I am and everything I'm not. It's my weaknesses & my strengths, my self-confidence and my self-esteem. My past, my present, and it most definitely is my future. My life story is where I'm going, where I've been, places I should go and places I probably shouldn't, and from my friend's and family...learning to take one day at a time. It's everything short of a book- It's my inspiration, my generation and it's never gonna be finished. Never, ever done....it will always be a work in progress. It's everything I've seen, heard, sensed and believed and all my hopes and dreams all wrapped together in a nice little bundle. It's a beginning and will one day be an end, but it's so much more than just a phase. It's my portfolio, and describing it is describing me!
My favorite past-time has got to be scale model building. As of '09, I am into my third full year of building, but rest assured, this ol' geezer is in it for good! Just recently getting into some kit bashing and scratch building stuff.....kinda figuring out what car crafting is all about and I will say, it's an art for sure! To all those very accomplished builders out there- my hat's off to ya~ Still have a LONG way to go with all this, but every build I complete is a learning experience and I'm constantly striving to broaden my skills and to develop my own unique techniques. I've finally discovered that each and every attempt is a refining process, and I learn from every mistake- guess that's what this is all about eh? Having fun and gettin' better~ I guess I'm just competitive by nature and I enjoy entering competitions and shows almost as much as I enjoy building. One of these days I'll turn out a great one, but still waiting on that one to happen!!
