Going from relaxed to naturale, it has been a long time coming. I've always had long hair, and so short is definitely something I'm getting use to. But I love it. I am anxious to know what type of curls I have, and for it to grow out more.

I was pushed to just transition by watching youtube vids, blogs, natural hair websites and forums, so special thanks to those whom put information out there for us beginners. There are just so many resources out there that will support you and guide you through this process and I am very grateful for the people who put the information out there.

Thus far everyone I have told is very supportive which is encouraging and I wait for the time to past as my hair grows. Thanks for coming by and checking out my photos I will keep pictures updated as I embark on this journey. Check out my blog, and Youtube vids.

Right now my sole concentration for my hair is maintaining the health of it. As we all know with healthy hair comes length retention so health, health, health, moisture, moisture, moisture, protection, protection, protection. I have started a healthy hair challenge, which is to protect my hair with a protective styles from now until March 2011. At this moment I did yarn braids/genie locs in my hair and I am really diggin' them. I wouldn't ever lock my hair but it is a nice looks on me. I may do kinky twists again who knows... SO...stay tune for progress photos... ciao!
