Washing/DC'ing/Moisturizing:
My routine is pretty simple. I wash my hair once a week. When I wash I usually prepoo, wash, condition, then deep condition. My prepoos are usually either ayurvedic treatments or natural protein treatments. I usually deep condition for 30min with heat and follow up with an acv rinse after rinsing it out. I moisturize my hair with my rinse-out conditioner and a bit of oil.

Styling/Grooming: Kind of boring in this department, lol. I don't like to fuss with my hair at all, so I stick with mostly low-manipulation styles (buns, braids, ponytails, etc...). I'm not really a protective-style loyalist. I like wearing my hair down on occasion. I don't really comb my hair often. The main times I comb or groom my hair is on wash days and whenever I oil my scalp to help distribute the oils. So I guess I comb my hair about 2-3 times a week.

Relaxing/Trimming: I relax my hair every 3 months using S&B Ultimate Protection No-Lye Relaxer. I self-trim after every relaxer.

What I look for in Products: A general rule that I follow is that I try to buy products that don't have that complicated list of ingredients, don't leave a lot of build-up, and I try to stay as much in the natural realm as I can. My favorite brands are Giovanni and Aubrey Organics.

****My Hair-Care Advice: Remember, I'm no expert :)
-Don't be afraid to look around and try different approaches until you find a routine that works for you. I gain a lot of inspiration from watching youtube videos of ladies explaining their hair regimens.
-Remember that what works for some doesn't necessarily work for all. We are the authority over our own hair.
-Be patient. It takes time to establish a routine that works for you. It might be helpful to initially keep a journal or log of products and things your hair seems to agree with and things that it doesn't.
-Remember that everybody makes mistakes. Setbacks may even happen. It's all apart of the learning process :).
-Listen to your body and pay attention to your nutrition. If it seems that everything you've been doing for your hair topically isn't working, there may be an underlying problem. Our hair, skin, and nails sometimes alert us to internal issues.
-If you are sick, under stress, on certain medications, or your hair is damaged, be gentle and handle your hair with care.
-Have Fun! Enjoy your hair through all the stages of your journey. Love and appreciate all the wonderful things your hair currently possesses.
