This is my regimen that works for ME. It took a while to find just the right stuff that works on my hair (trial & error):

LOVED this site!! Great tips! And best of all its all so simple to do :)

KISS...extremely simple...Style only when necessary with protective styles. Tie up w/ a silk scarf. I NOW relax every 3 months and trim 4 times a year.

**I cut my hair to chin length in April 09. Stretching was great, but somewhere in between the relaxer I lost alot of length. My hair was very dry, damaged, and I even had major breakage in a small section of my hair.I decided to cut the bad ends. This was also the last time I would use no-lye relaxers and the last I would go to my hairdresser.

I also switched to a LYE relaxer, so good bye no-lye. I believe the no-lye relaxer contributed to my dry ends and hair that always seem to split or need trimming. Doing this has been the best thing ever for my hair. I am in the process of cutting off the thinner/dry ends (currently about 1.5 inches or so). I will probably do an update in December 2009.
