Hi,

I am a member of both BHM (10/07) and nappturality, and this is my journey to attain healthier, thicker, and longer hair. I grew my hair out natural from 11/99 until 12/2002, due to illness and breakage of relaxed hair. During this process I was able to see the true texture of my hair and (guessing) my type is high textured 4a/4b Fine. Although, I loved my hair in its natural state, it became increasingly difficult for me to manage, maintain, and style without proper knowledge. My goal is to grow my hair out longer, thicker, and NATURAL.

Regimen:
Clarify with baking soda and conditioner twice a month or when I notice build up
Co-wash twice a week
DC twice a week (overnight baggy)
Protein as needed
Moisturize daily
Detangle every two weeks during co-wash
Lightly grease (yes I said grease) my scalp with softee coconut oil grease
**Disclaimer greasing works for ME and my hair has never failed to grow**
Seal my ends with Softee coconut grease (braids and twists)

Vitamins daily (Women's One a Day)
