Thank you ladies for all your comments! I am been crazy busy with grad school, so no updates untill the end of the year. See u ladies then! : )

I am in the process of learning to take care of myself. My hair, my skin and my body. Right now I am fitting on my trainging wheels and I hope to build on my knowledge.

Along with my body challenge, I decided to go for shoulder lenght hair unpressed. I have no desire to press my hair, I love it the way it is. : }

Goal 1: Shoulder lenght : End of December 2008

I am realizing the method to the madness of growing my hair.
1. Keep it simple with hair treatment every weekend.
2. Little manipulation.
3. Relax and take care of self.
I just could not figure out why my hair grew beyond bra strap lenght when I was a teenager. Then I realized that I only sprayed it with vitamin treaments, greased it and roller set it. I usually wore it in a bun during the day and sometimes wore braids for months.

Goal 2: Continued Protective Styles : End of November 2009
Goal 2 Part 2: Armpit Length: End of Feburary 2009

Goal 3: Brastrap Length : End of August 2009

Goal 4: Mid-Back Length: End of October 2009

Hair Routine in 2009

1. Pre-treating hair w. coconut oil ; or mayo, advocado and an egg; or olive oil. This mixture is left when I come home on Friday and overnight to Saturday.
2. Wash Hair Weekend w/ Conditioner or Benonite Clay Mixture/ Raw Apple Cider or Baking Soda w/ Apple Cider.
3. Such moisture allows me to clear my easily with my finger and a wide teeth comb. I only detangle my hair one section @ a time with the remainer of my hair in braids. I release a braid then detangle then re-braid then continue until my entire hair is done. I do not braid all the way through the ends. I twist the ends one forth through the ends, so that my ends do not tangle. This keeps my ends nice and silky and protected.
4. I mix Jojoba oil, Vegetable Glycerine, and Aloe Vera Gel to seal my hair.
5. Once every three months I use Henna and leave it on all day on the weekend.
6. Most Important: NO HEAT!
