I've been working as a freelance experimental photographer for 5 years now,
shooting with everything from Polaroids, to point&shoots, to digital & film SLRS.
I'm a sucker for big beautiful cameras with extensive personalized settings;
for any camera that allows me to really work with it to create my shot..
I'm a perfectionist that is far from perfect;
A dreamer, full of passion for, and insane dedication to, her craft ^.^
What started as curiosity, turned into clarity, a way to express myself without having to say a single word. I have this power to capture my dreams, my memories, the extraordinary in the everyday normality. I have the power, and I refuse to waste it. :) My shoots are rarely planned, I shoot at random, & my favorite way of shooting; is from a moving car.
I'd rather be behind the camera than in front; but over the years I've been in front thousands of times! I have a huge advantage over most models because of my photography experience; I know what poses look good, what angles to shoot from, what lighting works, the secrets to making *anyone* look good, AND most importantly, how to work with anyone on set.
I'm mostly my own model,
but I have, for fun, modeled for a few other photographers, and somehow become the face of Angels in Ashes. :D
The most important thing in my life, is my work. I literally eat, sleep, breathe photography. I don't remember my life before it, and can't imagine my life without it. It's always there for me. It's my sanity; my safe place. It's my expression, and my greatest love. I absolutely wouldn't have it any other way.<3 - General Information
