Even though I now live in the great state of PA., Chicago will always be home. Miss the food, boy-oh-boy do I miss the food!!! Taking the train, bus and subway. Everything so convenient. But, I don't miss the blaring horns, sirens, people screaming down the block, from the windows, from the cars and buses. Too peaceful here. I love it. I'm home.

I was diagnosed with Stage III ColoRectal Cancer a few years ago. Had to do 2 years of chemo and radiation, at the same time! Would go to radiation on Monday morning, leave there and head straight to chemo. Sitting in the chair, for 5 hours while they pumped this poison into my body. Then, I'd get hooked up to a portable chemo machine which I carried 24/7, until Friday. Then, on Friday, my port would be flushed and bandaged. Now it's time for my white-blood cell shot. Makes them grow in your bones and it hurts badly. For 2 years I could not eat, sleep, drink or anything else. Yet, here I am today---cancer FREE! A SURVIVOR! Jehovah saw me through. He blessed me with a loving husband and family. An abundance of friends from around the world. How my faith in Him has grown.

Promised that I would do all I could to keep others from suffering like I did. If anyone needs to talk about cancer, please know that I am here.

Well, that's enough. Keep on the righteous path and Jehovah God will guide your steps and light your way.
