Long hair was my goal when I first started going to hair boards. My hair was neck length but broken off badly due to misuse of heat appliances and relaxer abuse. I learned a lot on LHCF and was able to grow my hair almost to full APL. It was healthy and I had come a long way. I was always interested in going natural but honestly I was scared about my hair texture and whether or not I would be pretty. Hey I'm just being honest. I would stretch my relaxers and it would be so difficult to manage that new growth. Well, after looking at many naturals I finally decided to take the plunge and transition. I have to say the person who really inspired me was Lauren450 because she cut all her relaxed hair off and it was down her back and I was trippin over my hair that was barely APL. LOL. As I watched her progress it gave me the courage to continue my transition. And there are sooo many others who's fotki's I stalked like Turnergirl, Ladylibra, Shortidoowop, just to name a few. Well I did the BC after transitioning for 8 months and 4 weeks. I tried to make it longer but I just couldn't. And I'm excited about learning my natural hair that God blessed me with and I hope I can be an encouragement to others. I will be posting pics soon. :o)
