- I am a 25 year old stay-at-home Army wife/nursing student currently living in Ft.Lewis,WA,originally from Memphis,TN.I have two sons Ayan,5 & Aydan,2 1/2.My husband and I have been married for 6 years.I am a new natural woman who threw away all my old ideas about beauty and with the encouragement of my husband made the BC on 4/11/08 and had no feelings of guilt or fear afterwards.Instead,I felt giddy and euphoric.It was like seeing myself for the first time.I love springtime because it is such a time of renewal and I feel like a flower that is beginning to bloom.There was not a better time for me to cut,so I just got in front of the mirror with my hair scissors and electric clippers and went to town.There was no room for transition for me-it was all or nothing.
