Well I started the transition in January 2007...I had a relaxer since the age of ten and I decided, for the second time, to grow my hair to its natural state.....I am learning to embrace my hair...and not confine it to what society says that my hair should look like. I am having some rough days, but I am holding on. The members that I have viewed here on Fotki helps me everyday...I get new ideas for styles and hair care!!
