 | I've been natural since Fall 1999 and I love my hair! I decided to go natural because my hair was damaged from years of abuse. I was also at that age where I was becoming a women and growing more comfortable in my own skin. And I was simply tired of fighting with my hair. I began transitioning my hair in 1998 by wearing braids for about 1.5 years straight. Once I finally grew out all the perm I had about 7" of nappy, chemical-free hair. Wearing my hair natural isnt just about having healthy hair its a mentality that reflects self-acceptance, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness.Its not about my family, friends, or society its about self.

Hair Motto: Have fun but keep it simple. My life is already complex and I dont need to add to that with complicated hair regimes.
Regime: Retwist every 3 months. ACV rinse once a week. Wash and Condition whenever I feel like it. Spritz whenever I feel my hair needs mositure.
