- I have started this as a means of tracking my hair care, what works or doesn't. I recently started transitioning back to natural (last texlax was in May 06). My scalp has issues, that no doctor that I went to could tell me why, but I am starting to figure it out myself... it has to be fungal - as it would break out with small bump, be extremely sensitive, itchy and sore to the touch. I tried everything that I knew, not relaxing, braiding -- which was killing me... tender headed.
Oh well, I found some online hair boards, several years too late, but since I have things are changing. I started using MTG which STOPPED the itching, the tenderness, breakouts and shedding. I had lost so much of my hair that I am not sure if any will return, but I am trying to keep what I have and keep it healthy.
