I still have my kinky twists in they've been in for a month now and actually they look great. The stylist wasn't lying when she said the older they get the more people like them. So I'm sure I won't have no problem keeping them til late December. I figured since I have to take them down to get to the next hairstyle I'd give an update, cuz come Dec. I would've been hiding my hair for 6months. I got my Miss Jessie Curly Pudding in so I'm going to try the shingling method, I will also be doing my 2nd Henna treatment. According on how the shingling method turns out will determine if my hair will be out a week or for a couple days. Either way my hair will be back in hiding a week after my twists come out. Anyways eventhough I'm hiding my hair I'm still on here a couple days a week checking people updates so keep it up ladies and happy growing.

Well peeps its been 2yrs since I had a relaxer. I would take pics but my hair is in kinky twists til at least December lol. Anyways I stay on here still just checking out everybodys updates still. I'm still on my journey of hiding my hair til my 2nd Nappiversary which isn't until June 2010. So once these twists come out something else will be put right back in. Keep updating ladies cuz I love seeing everyone else's journey as well.

So my sew-in lasted about 2weeks before I took it down and got my micros. Hopefully I can keep these longer which I'm sure I will since they're so small that I'm dreading when I do have to take them down.

YEAR 2!!!
Well year 1 is over and I must say it was rough. I still honestly don't know what works for my hair, cuz I'm stuck between moisturizers and definition. What I mean is when I put moisturizers even the tiniest bit all curl is gone and my hair feels heavy. I saw growth my 1st year but between people chopping off 2-3ins on two different occasions, I've decided to go this whole year with either braids, sew-ins, or sew-ins with braids in the front. If I have any updates it'll be with those styles only, with me doing this I'm sure I'll see even more growth. Trust my friends though eventhough I won't be updating monthly with pics of my hair showing I can't resist logging in daily and seeing if someone has updated with their beautiful hair pics. Anyway I wish everyone a good hair year may it continue to grow long and strong :)
