- 7/10/07 I originally came by this website to uploaded many snapshots that I intended to share with family and friends but discovered a great place to meet other photographers and to learn from their work. The images I have seen have inspired me to become a better photographer, to attain better control of lighting and to gain better understanding of my photos and the image making process. I hope I can absorb some of the skill and knowledge these talented people out here have and in the process make good friends.
8/11/07 No sooner said then done, I am making good friends here and receiving tremendous help and insight on both photography and Fotki features. I like to give credit to where and who credit is due but for privacy reasons I won't mention any names...unless they want me to, then I will be glad to announce praise from the mountain tops! So thank you, now and in the future, for your guidance and time.
1/10/09 I continue the pursuit of knowledge and skill in photography and the digital realm. I am a constant student seeking tips and techniques to explore, and the appreciative viewer admiring others photos and works of art. I've begun to seek opportunities to practice what I've learned and to entertain the idea of creating a portfolio of my small accomplishments.
