- I'm DorkeyDamsel from NC. I decided to go natural in July of 2007. I started by cutting my hair into a one length bob just under my ears. I began my transition to natural hair in February 2008. I wasn't suffering from much damage with permed hair ( little shedding and relatively no thinning) I just felt as though it were time for a change. I'm really excited about going natural and I plan on doing the BC in June of this year (2008), right before I begin my summer vacation. I intend to use Fotki to document my journey back to my natural state, and also as an outlet to express my creativity . Thanks for coming to my page, enjoy !!!!!!! :)))))
