- I had become tired of how damaged my hair was so I stopped relaxing it in January 09. I wasn't sure what my next step was, two years ago I had cut off all my hair getting rid of the perm. I only lasted 3mths cause I had no idea how to style my naturally kinky hair. So this time I was just like no more perms, I'll just straighten my hair when it needs it. Flash forward 3mths and I'm on youtube and I see this video about natural hair, I was so inspired I created me an account and 2days later I chopped off my relaxed ends. I haven't looked back since. I wasn't the type to really go on online and blog but I have become obsessed with natural hair and can't seem to stop LOL.
