Last relaxer: December 2, 2006
Big Chop: February 17, 2007
Current length: MBL at nape
I am all about keeping things simple when it comes to my hair.
Current Routine (as of 12/09):
~I wear twists continuously: wash in a set of twists and redo them.
~Lather twice with CON detangling and conditioning shampoo, add olive oil to last lather just before rinsing.
~While wet, take down one twist at a time, apply shealoe, comb through, retwist.
~Repeat weekly.
~Moisturize as needed.
~Trim as needed.
~Deep condition monthly.
~I don't use heat on my hair except to deep condition.
No Cutting Challenge 2009-2011: I am starting on a personal challenge to not cut my hair for 2 years (April 2011). My goal is to learn to handle my hair as it grows out and not cut it out of frustration. I will still trim as needed and if my hair becomes damaged I will cut off just that portion.
I completed the No Cutting Challenge without cutting and I am going to continue it...
