I started my "Hair Journey" on June 28th, 2007and I had hoped to achieve having Healthy, Shiney, Beautiful hair and with the knowledge I have been recieving from BHM im bound to reach my goal.

My original goal was to reach bra strap length by *2008* Unfortunately I had a major set back so that didn't help. My hair was in alot better shape then it was in "07" I had went a whole year w/out heat on my own...although that doesnt include the 3 relaxers I had recieved which was the only time I used heat.Plus my hair had grown considerably. But the thing that set me back was my bright idea of wanting a weave....Ye I said it a Weave. I told myself never again and I dont know what convinced me to do it...maybe all of those tempting updates on BHM in the weave section. 4 weeks later when I wanted to take out the weave I was so impatient and frustrated since the braids were all sewed really bad w/the thread that I just started cutting, and cutting, and cutting telling my self the whole time...its just hair it will grow back. Needless to say I lost ALOT of hair....Its still a decent length but I feel like I have to start over again to get where I should have been over again...Hopefully in 2009 I will be APL...thats all im asking is just APL.

I don't really know what my hair type yet but im sure it will get determined. I fell I am leaning more to a 3c .


My hair regimine now consists of the following :

1. Co-Wash my hair every three days with a cheapie conditioner like Herbal Essence or Suave.

2. After my co-wash I use MegaTek and let it stay on for 45 min to an hour and then I rinse it out. I let my hair air dry till its 85-90% dry then I use a Glycerin/Water mix to moisturize my hair, put my hair in a pony and baggy my ends with either s-curl, evoo, or mango butter.
I very rarely use heat unless everyone in a while I get in a mood to sit under the dryer and deep condition.

3. No brushes or blow dryers unless absolutely necessary.

Basically just trying to be a K.I.S.S. ....Keep it simple sista.


Thats pretty much it for now.
