I started my natural journey in July of 2005. In April of the same year, I noticed that after a perm, a segment of my hair where it's always been longest and thickest was about an inch and a half long. I was saddened and disgusted, but I still got my last perm in July.

I did my big chop on March 30, 2006. Being natural not only changed my hair, but the way I feel about myself, the way I see myself.

I began my loc'd journey on April 2, 2007 with comb coils. After about a year, I begin to maintain with interlocking as opposed to palm-rolling. It lasts longer and is easier for me to deal with. I love it! :) Feel free to look at pictures and comment!
