- i decided in jan of 06 that i needed a change. I had gone thru much underserved stress in 05 (ok ok ok ...some of it i caused) and my hair was paying the price. One day in May 05 i permed and styled my hair, 2 days later i noticed i had a huge bald spot in the front left side of my hair, which started at my hairline! Now yall know i was just too too thru! that sucker took a year to grow back. I'm so happy to be nappy, and my hubby thinks it looks great.
