- Basically i have been transitioning for 1 year! I decided to go natural after much stress over my hair and its thinness when relaxed. It was not as the time goes by it was not growing, but it was very thin and started to break while i was studying. There were not much styles to go around either. I simply wore my hair in one .. with various parted angles. After much deliberation over what i should do i started off by saying "no more relaxers until". So i made this decision at the end of March 2007 after my last relaxer. As time went by and the textures began to show i decided to do braided extensions. To me i was just waiting out my time with the hair while i decided what i will do with it. But later i found out that that was my transitioning period. So basically i decided to continue to braid my hair and so forth until it was time to Big chop.
i trust my album is an inspiration to someone out there!
