Wow, 2008 was a wonderful year for my hair. I learned how to get my hair healthy and what will damage it. What is fantastic for my hair and what is unnecessary. 2009 is all about length. My objective goal for 2008 was to get my hair healthy again which I did and I cut back to my previous starting point (I was really close to APL). Now that my ends are healthy and strands are strong I can focus on getting some length.

I have decided that having a set regimen isn't really right for me. I always stray and still have great results. I am sticking with some basics though and just listen to my hair and practice common sense and take my vitamins.

My next relaxer will be in 10-12 weeks.

I relaxed on 10/9/09 with Mizani Regular Lye Relaxer. Inch away from APL.

I relaxed on 5/8/09 with Silk Elements Lye with Shea Butter.

I relaxed on 2/20/09 with Mizani Sensitive Lye and cut back to Full NL

I self relaxed and under processed on 1/19/09 with Silk Elements Lye with Shea Butter.

I relaxed on 9/26/08 with Mizani Sensitive Lye. It was two weeks early but oh well. I also think I may relax in another ten weeks.

I relaxed on 7/14/08 with Mizani Sensitive. Never No-Lye Again.

I texlaxed on 4/19/08 with CON No Lye Relaxer infused with EVOO, EVCO, and Safflower Oil
