Welcome to my Fotki! Finally...whew, it took me long enough to get this done.

I've been stalking your sites for about 5 months. I found courage, creative ideas and of course knowledge.

I approached going natural just like most journeys in life, I did some research. I was amazed when I discovered the Natural Fotki global community. Sisters uniting from around the world to enlighten each other and learning to except their true selves and building sisterhood. I'm loving it.

Anyway....!

I got my last perm in October 2007. You ask, why was it was my last?
I grew tired of the vicious cycle of rushing to perm naps that I couldn't dare let show. Who was I fooling....? Myself!

I was thinking, it would not be exceptable or professional to show my natural self. That is hella crazy! Thank you Lord for opening my eyes!

When you think about it, it's like saying to God "the way you made me is not good enough, let me help you out."

I don't condem anyone who is still in that frame of mind. That person may like the versatility of their natural curl, better then the perm. Unforunately some may never know. When asked about my hair, you best believe I give them the whole story. I hold no punches!

Enough of my harangue, hope you enjoy my site. Stay tuned, I'm just getting started.
