Welcome,
I have had a camera in my hand since age four. This art form is like breathing for me and it has deeply enriched my life and taught me much about how important our "lens" and how we "filter" life through that lens and how our heart and soul can speak through this level of expression if we choose that.
This medium has offered me great joy and has lead to many wonderful opportunities. I am a published Photographer & Writer, a Location Scout for Print, Commercials, Film and Television. I have been a Holistic and Spiritual Consultant and Teacher for more than a decade, as an extension of the "perspective" I shared above.
I have been fascinated by Life and how we see Life and perceive the unique light and potential of each other for as long as I can remember.
Creativity and light are universal languages that we all know and respond to from our deepest being-ness of HeArt and Soul. This is what I wish to share in all of my work. In my experience, how we see and where we choose to focus is vital to how we relate to each other and how we create our world.
As the marriage of Art, Light, and technology, Photography is a natural demonstration of this philosophy and opens us to a symbolic realm that can be quite magical and liberating. Images are potent. They become engraved in our memory, heart, and soul, providing lenses and frames of focus for our experience of 'the movie of Life.'

To appreciate beauty IS an act of Love and so, there is great hope for our future. It is a delight to enjoy and share the magnificence that our world reflects back to us.
The human eye can seem as wide and deep as any ocean and Nature is a cathedral that doesn't discriminate, is always open, offers an ever changing, inspiring welcome, and is the consummate artist and teacher with an infinite Source of Divine inspiration, a masterful hand, a living canvas and palette of colors. It fascinates me that despite the chaos that can appear to be the norm in a world that challenges our concept of reality constantly, the beauty and sacredness all around us nurtures, sustains, and continues to offer us "mirrors of the sacred" in nature, the visual metaphors of our culture, and the intrinsic beauty of humanity.
The goal of my work is to convey a deeper charisma of our world and each other that elevated us to a place beyond mainstream reality.

ABOUT MY COMMERCIAL WORK:
Attention to detail is my hallmark. I offer you individually created fine art images and an experienced, creative eye for portraiture, product, event, editorial, commercial and other imagery. All of my work is created with a fine arts ethic and the intention of bringing forth the true essence of the subject to enrich your portrait or project.
I am also a Location Scout and Manager. My clients have described me as having "an uncanny ability to find the perfect location to meet our vision and our needs." I approach my location work in the same was I do my fine art work and take great delight in the "treasure hunt" this work can be. The art of the image feeds my soul. I have participated in gallery shows, contests and festivals. My images have won awards in juried competitions. I have deeply appreciated the gratitude expressed by my clients for the visual integrity of my images and the emotional grounding and serenity they inspire.
I craft all of my images from the initial inspiraton to the final print by my own eye and hand and strive for a good, true image the moment it is captured rather than depending on a lot of technical manipulation after the fact. I choose the paper to complement the image, preferring natural watercolor, cotton matte, and lustre to harsher high gloss finishes unless you are seeking a specifically graphic look. I print with archival inks and papers designed to last a century and do all of the standard sized work myself so I can be sure my own passion for color and quality is upheld and I can assure the turnaround time to best meet everyone's needs. I print primarily in standard sizes so they can be framed affordably and I can also customize to your preference. All of my prints are matted in black so that the eye can relax into the image rather then being distracted by the glare of more traditional white photographic matting.
CREATIVE COMMUNITY:
Building and participating in conscious, creative community has always been important to me and I strongly believe that an artist can be born and/or nurtured over a lifetime. We are ALL creative beings. Supporting personal creativity, self esteem, original thinking, and self expression are the foundations for a lifetime of true happiness in any economic climate.
Our children are our gift to the future. I have been a passionate advocate for quality arts programming and funding for our schools and have assisted several arts organizations and publications with that mission in addition to visionary planning, promotion, aesthetics, and relationship building. My photographs, articles, and interviews have been published in several magazines that focused on showcasing the arts, artists of all ages, and creative community.
