A poet at heart I went natural on January of 2006 (for the new year) having been curious about the real texture of my hair and never really liking straight hair and how perms gave me sores. I decided to stop being safe about everything and like Nike "just do it". Frankly I was tired of feeling like I had to dress, talk, dance, live and act like everyone else to be accepted. I stood within the shadow afraid to stand out but I prefer and desire to now. ^_~

Scared


Broken feelings closed my heart and mind will peace I ever find
I never bind my resolve to trueness,
But the best talker who filled me with newness
An adultress, sinner, for a fool's kiss, was I truly that new to this
Temptation was it really my down fall, I can't stand at all
Call my lord god oh help me, this darkness makes your light repel me,
I grab my chest and pray to feel blessed
I'm scared jesus, " No More Tests!!"
Invest into a new word, not man's lies but the bible's true verbs.
