Basically this album is to document my natural hair journey. I have been soooooo inspired by the ladies on different natural hair forums including napturality and cnappymenow and all the ladies who rock their natural hair on their fotki pages. :) I've had my hair permed since I was 6 years old and so, after 17 years of straight hair, I decided, despite all the "are you crazy?'s" to grow my hair back natural. I started growing my hair out in January 2008. The journey has been rough but I'm so proud of myself.

I have thick, coarse, wiry in some places, wavy in other 4a, 4b - 4z (lol) hair. I love my hair. It feels like cotton balls. :) I want to help show the world that hair doesnt have to be long and straight to be beautiful, natural hair is beautiful too. If I can inspire someone like so many others inspired me, my job is done. :)
