- I'm pretty new on fotki, but I had to join because I saw fotki members on other sites (motowngirl.com and facebook, etc). The ladies on here take such good care of their hair, and I'm very inspired. I'm twenty years old, and a college student. I have been getting perms off and on since I was about nine. My last perm was December 2006, and I haven't had one since :)

The first six months I was natural, I didn't do anything with my hair. It was always dry and tangly. The routine I've figured out is-
*Wash once a week, with an non-sulfate shampoo. I like Giovanni's Tea Tree Shampoo. Sometimes instead of shampoo I like to use bentonite clay.
*Detangle my hair with a Jilbere shower comb while it's loaded with conditioner. I like to use Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose.
*Put in a creamy leave in conditioner. I Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk.
*I like to deep condition with Karen's Body Beautiful Lucious Locks Hair Mask.
