I feel so free since I became a natural beauty. I spend less time fixing my hair and I just allow it to do it's own thing. I've been completly natural for three months. I began my transition in October 2006 and performed my big chop on May 2007. I've tried to go natural three times before but I never succeeded. I always reached back for the creamy crack- aka "Relaxer", I was young and wanted to follow the trends, but now I know the beauty and the joy of being a natural and I will never think about going back.
To all of you that are thinking about becoming a natural, go for it. You would love the beauty of your natural being. Be yourself , that person that God has created you to be. Be free, because I am, and It's wonderful.
