I shampoo w/ CON green and white bottle or Mizani Bontafying shampoo and DC with either CON, Humecto, Mizani Moisturefuse, ORS Replenishing or Nexxus Humectress (w/ a table spoon of Roux Porosity Control, honey, EVOO and JBCO) 1x per week w/ heat. During my washes on the weekends I will roller set. I co-wash 1x per week (in the summer only) using either VO5 or Herbal Essences HH, during this wash I air dry. ***As of 11/08 I've been airdrying in braids 3 weeks out the month and rollersetting 1 week to help combat some breakage I've been experiencing...

Every other wash I'll pre-poo w/ ORS Hair Mayo and 1 egg for protein or use Aphogee 2 min. recon. to keep my moisture/protein in balance.

I clarify 2x a month

I've realized that long stretches (16 weeks +) aren't for me, so my goal is to touch up between 12 and 14 weeks. I prefer low manipulation so I only comb on wash days w/ a head full of conditioner.

I wear my hair down for 2-3 weeks after a relaxer then its back in a bun. I may start to wear it down more often...

Vits: Multi-vit and GNC Hair, Skin and Nails supplements ( stopped taking as of 10/08 b/c it caused horrible breakouts :-(... )

Rollersetting: 1x a week. I wash with with either CON or Mizani and deep condition for half hour. After final rinse with cold water I apply Infusium 23, NTM and a heat protector (either a dime size of ORS Olive Oil, Keracare Silken Seal or Chi Silk) I proceed to roll using the mohawk method but with the rollers going up, not down. Then I sit under the dryer for 1 1/2 hours. After I'm completely dry I'll either wrap and put on my du-rag (tied very loose so my hair doesn't come out flat) or I'll do a silk wrap, sitting back under the dryer for only 10 minutes.

Flat Iron: 1x a month. (or less... depending...)After washing, conditioning and applying leave-ins I part my hair if 4 sections and pin up 3. Then I proceed to blow dry each section, pinning each back up after it's dry, with my ionic/ceramic dryer. Once completely dry I plug in my Sedu take down once section and take approx. 1 inch sections of hair and flat iron on about 360 or so. My hair comes out very straight and bouncy using this method.
