I am a 22 year old college student at NC State University studying Mechanical Engineering. College has opened up many wonderful experiences for me. This the time where I've grown and matured into the woman I am today.

I met wonderful strong women who were natural or in transition (Kristal, Carla, and Joy) and seeing their natural beauty honestly they gave me the courage to make a change.

I had my last relaxer in November 2005 and I never looked back from there.
I made my Big Chop September 16, 2006!! I did not realize how I somewhat hid behind my hair. I began to think about my appearance more because I did not look like the majority. As time went on I got comfortable in my skin and I am so in love with my hair. This is one of the best decisions I have made and I've never regretted it.
