- i'm 23 yrs. old and in college studying psyc. i also love fashion. check out some of my outfits on facebook.com/kimlockett. i went natural in 05'. i kind of cheated though. i didn't cut off my relaxer or just let it grow out with the help of sew-ins. i got my first sew-in weave by the weaveologist Shreese Slate in Dallas, Tx. i've been getting them ever since. my relaxer grew off within the first year and now is going through the lengthening stages. my goal is for my hair to get mid upper arm curly and at least 6" below my bra strap. i have a long growth cycle so its possible!!!! i can't wait!!!! i've been so inspired by those who've been in the game for a while and by those who are like me and staying in the race! :) please keep on growing! and remember GOD IS THE ANSWER!!!!
